This weekend I was able to purchase:
- a great (and I really do mean great) pair of sky high cherry red wedges at Thrift Store City
- a thin printed button up dress. Circa 1970s, I believe. I actually thought it was a shirt, and I didn't bother to try it on because it looked big enough. It's really nice. And to think, I was going to put it back and get this cute Erin Featherston bunny print dress. I'm smart.
- paint, brushes, sand, and stickers for my store window display for Fashion. I'm really exicted to bring it in tomorrow.
- Hard Candy makeup. Hey, they were ridiculously cheap and I couldn't help myself (being the compulsive shopper that I am).
I'll post pictures sometime this week because they DO NOT deserve to go unnoticed.
Thanks to my tito and tita:
- I got a bag full of goodies from their shop!
- I've got $200. Half is in my wallet, the other half is with my mom. She knows how I am with money.
- We're going to Williamsburg on Saturday.
Tomorrow I plan on:
- Having a very good day.
- Seeing all sorts of un-originality put into the projects of my fellow classmates. I despise that class.
- Buying these beautiful BCBG heels. Because I finally have money!
Before I get off line (yeah, right), I'll leave you all with the following photos:
Ah, who wouldn't love a good dose of ukay ukay? Think of them as consignment shops: Filipino style. Street markets, annoying as hell vendors, Going to Divi with two bodyguards practically attached to my hips, Tawad booths where I can never get a lowered price because apparently the "accent" I was had has vanished, the muggings, Ahhh. The Philippines.
